Erin Flegg is freelance writer and journalist currently attempting to leave Vancouver. Originally from Ontario, her work now focuses on stories of indigenous sovereignty and settler solidarity in BC. In her spare time she likes to make jam.
Hailey recently completed a diploma focused on counselling and advocating for women and children who have experienced trauma and violence. She has been involved in community work, including work with Indigenous women escaping homelessness and violence and members of HIV/AIDs positive communities. She is very passionate about political action and social justice and has been a part of various actions across Toronto in the last few years. One of these actions was disrupting Laureen Harper at the Just For Cats cat video festival last year demanding government support for Canada’s missing and murdered Indigenous women and their families. Hailey recently moved to Ottawa where she is completing a degree in Political Science and Communication at the University of Ottawa.
